______________________________________________________________________________

After a cold start to our weekend, mostly sunny skies are expected Saturday afternoon. High temperatures will be in the mid 30s with west winds at 8 to 12 mph. Most snow, with the exception of some spots in eastern Kentucky, will melt across the region on Saturday.

Sunday morning low temperatures will be in the mid 20s, then a few more clouds are expected on Sunday afternoon. The southwest winds will help the temperatures climb back into the mid 40s in the afternoon.
