High pressure will strengthen over the region tonight, allowing mostly clear skies. The temperatures will cool into the low to mid 50s with south winds at only 3 to 8 mph.

With high pressure overhead on Thursday, another enjoyable, Fall Day is expected. We'll start in the 50s and then climb into the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. The winds will be light out of the southwest. It looks like a great Fall day if you have outdoor plans.

Friday, should be dry during the day time as well. The clouds will thicken throughout the day as temperatures get halted in the low 70s. By the evening a few showers and storms to the northwest will be approaching. Right now, the threat will be in the late evening for the northwest part of the Bluegrass, for a line of showers or isolated thunderstorms to arrive.

Mostly cloudy skies and rain will then linger on Saturday as temeperatures quickly cool.
