The skies will continue to clear tonight allowing temperatures to drop later tonight. Overnight low temperatures will dip into the mid to upper 30s with a light southwest wind at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunshine will continue with scattered clouds on Wednesday. A mild day is expected with the light southwest winds continuing and temperatures climbing into the mid to upper 50s. Late in the day extra clouds will arrive, keeping temperatures mild through the evening and overnight.
By Thursday morning clouds skies and strong south winds, should keep morning temperatures in the low 50s. A cold front surging our way will bring moderate to heavy intensity rain across the region by the midday. An isolated thunderstorm will be possible as well. Behind the afternoon cold front strong west winds at 15 to 25 mph, will gust to near 35 or 40 mph as temperatures fall through the afternoon. With colder air filtering in and some lingering moisture, we're watching the chance for a few flurries flying late Thursday evening, especially in northern parts of the Bluegrass.
