A dry and pleasant evening is in progress across the Bluegrass. Temperatures are warm, but the humidity remains tolerable under partly cloudy skies. In southern Kentucky a few afternoon showers and storms will continue to slide east. They will exit this state by the late evening. Temperatures will drop into the low 70s area wide tonight.

High temperatures will peak a few degrees warmed on Monday as the humidity returns to the region. Heat indices will be in the mid 90s with air temperatures around 90 degrees. Scattered afternoon storms are expected, although no severe weather is in the forecast at this time. The winds will be light out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Even more storms will develop on Tuesday as afternoon temperatures climb into the low to mid 90s.
