Any evening thunderstorms will be very stray with most locations remaining dry. Temperatures will slowly fall through the 80s this evening under partly cloudy skies. We'll bottom out at 73 for an overnight low temperature.

On Wednesday high temperatures will return to the mid 90s with heat indices back around 100 degrees. Partly cloudy skies are expected with light winds out of the southwest. Afternoon thunderstorms will become more numerous for the midweek. A stray strong thunderstorm will be possible, although most activity will not be severe. Locally heavy rain will be a continued chance.

Thunderstorms will return on Thursday ahead of a cold front. The front does not arrive until late Thursday and into Friday. Behind low humidity is expected beginning late Friday and to start the weekend.
