We've had a lot of sunshine to start the work week, but clouds are about to return, even as temperatures continue to warm. The skies will become mostly cloudy tonight as temperatures remain mild. We're only dropping into the upper 30s with a light south wind.

The extra clouds will linger into the midweek, but temperatures will keep climbing. Mostly cloudy skies and light south winds will take highs into the mid 50s on Wednesday. By Wednesday night a few showers will be possible in southern Kentucky along the TN border.

Rain will become more widespread for central Kentucky on Thursday, although most of eastern Kentucky should remain dry. Temperatures Thursday will peak in the mid 50s.
