Rain continues across the region this evening. The better potential for locally heavy rain will be northwest of the Bluegrass, where rainfall totals had been lighter so far. A few thunderstorms will be possible in southern Kentucky. The winds will also remain breezy through the evening, out of the east, around 10 to 15 mph, gusting to around 25 mph.
Off and on showers will continue tonight, although the rain will not be as heavy. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s.
A few peaks of sun will be possible with the extra clouds on Tuesday. A few showers will continue, but they should not be as widespread or as heavy. A thunderstorm or two will be possible in the afternoon or evening, mainly in eastern and northeastern Kentucky. High temperatures will warm a few degrees into the mid 70s with a southeast wind at 5 to 15 mph.
