A few showers will remain in southern Kentucky this evening, although most locations will remain dry. The showers are along a weak cold front. Behind the front on Wednesday, high pressure will build in from the north. With this high pressure, lower humidity is expected along with dry conditions. Under the high pressure, partly cloudy skies will return. Temperatures will peak in the mid 80s for the midweek.

Upper 80s are expected on Thursday under partly cloudy skies. We're watching the potential for more rain starting Friday and into the weekend, pending the remnants of Isaac moving into the Ohio River Valley.
