Extra clouds will persist tonight with a few overnight showers or storms still possible. The winds will be light and variable as temperatures drop into the upper 50s.
The stationary boundary to our north throughout the work week, which has prompted the off and on rain, will finally begin to move on Friday and bring the wet weather pattern to an eventual end. As the boundary slides south the chance, for mainly afternoon showers or storms, will be south of the boundary in southern Kentucky. High temperatures are expected in the low 70s with north winds behind the front at 3 to 8 mph.
Over the weekend, partly cloudy skies will continue, with cooler Fall temperatures. Overnight low temperatures will drop into the upper 40s and low 50s with afternoon highs around 70.
