A cold front sliding south with bring scattered showers tonight but more comfortable weather for the weekend.
A Flash Flood Watch continues in southeastern Kentucky through 8pm this evening.

A cold front is sliding south across the region this evening.
Along it a few more stray storms will be possible, although strong to severe thunderstorms are less likely this evening.
The greatest threats will be lightning and heavy rain that could lead to flash flooding.

Behind the cold front, temperatures will drop into the mid 60s overnight under partly cloudy skies.
Winds will be light out of the north, allowing for patchy fog to develop.

Afternoon temperatures Saturday and Sunday will peak in the mid to upper 80s with much lower humidity.
A stray storm is possible in southeast Kentucky.
Rain chances climb slightly to start the work week and afternoon temperatures return to the low 90s.
