After a stretch of afternoons in the 70s, temperatures will head back to seasonable highs starting on Wednesday. We'll start off the day on the cool side again with morning lows in the mid 50s under clear skies. The light south winds at 3 to 8 mph and mostly sunny skies will allow afternoon temeperatures to peak in the low 80s as high pressure continues.
The next cold front does not arrive in the region until the end of the week and into the weekend. It will have a slight chance for a few showers along and behind the front, but until it gets here Thursday will continue dry under partly cloudy skies with highs in the low 80s. A similar day is expected on Friday.
