A quiet and beautiful evening is in progress across the region, as temperatures fall through the 70s. Northeast winds were breezy today, but they will weaken this evening. Temperatures later tonight will again fall into the mid 50s.

Mostly sunny skies will continue on Thursday with light northeast winds at 5 to 10 mph. An approaching warm front will help temperatures climb a few degrees with afternoon temperatures peaking in the mid 80s.

Behind the warm front on Friday, south winds will allow more moisture to return as the humidity begins to climb. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s under partly cloudy skies. A few stray showers will be possible, mainly in southern Kentucky.
