High pressure over the Ohio River valley will help keep the Bluegrass for most of the work week. It may be a different story in extreme southern Kentucky. A lingering stationary front draped across Tennessee will likely keep a few very stray showers or storms possible each afternoon through the midweek.

Temperatures Tuesday morning will begin in the mid 60s and end up in the upper 80s under mostly clear skies. The winds will remain light, around 3-8 mph, and variable under the high pressure.

A repeat forecast is expected on Thursday with high temperatures remaining very warm.
