Midnight Update: The decline in temperatures has begun to slow as clouds moved back over Kentucky from the southwest. In Lexington, we are currently at 35° and should be in the low 30s by morning.

Skies will clear slightly Thursday afternoon as we climb into the mid 50s. Southern Kentucky, enjoy your 60°!

Meteorologist Michael Estime will have the latest on the timing of our next rainfall starting at 5 a.m. on ABC 36 Good Morning Kentucky.

Skies will become more cloudy as we head into Wednesday night and Thursday morning. Expect a cool start to the day with temperatures in the low 30s.

A warm front will move north through the area on Thursday, bringing in warmer air. Temperatures will be about an extra 10° warmer than they were in most places Wednesday. That will put the Bluegrass in the mid 50s with some cities in southern Lexington topping out at 60°. There will be some clearing of the skies from morning to afternoon.

Rain will begin to move in late Thursday night into Friday morning.
