High pressure over the Great Lakes, was close enough to keep the skies clear on Wednesday with only high thin clouds. That high pressure will move east by Thursday and as south winds return, clouds will also build into the region from the south. We'll start Thursday in the low 30s with scattered clouds, then thick cloud cover will return on Thursday afternoon. High temperatures should still peak in the low to mid 50s. A stray sprinkle is possible, but no measurable rain is expected.
More rain is expected on Friday. A cold front will stall just north of the Ohio River Valley, allowing an area of rain to develop, mainly west of I-75. Temperatures on Friday will peak in the upper 50s as south winds continue.
