Update: As we approach midnight, most of the rainfall has moved east into eastern Kentucky. Other areas could still see a stray shower by early Monday morning. As of 11 p.m. Sunday, Lexington has picked up .17" of rain. Temperatures are declining very gradually and are approaching 40° around the Bluegrass.

I'll see you bright and early on ABC 36 Good Morning Kentucky starting at 5!

Light to heavy rainfall has entered Central Kentucky and is pushing further east. A warm front is also pushing through tonight, and will help pump in much warmer air the next couple of days. Temperatures on Monday morning will only fall to near 40°. Most rain will end by the morning commute.

The warm air continues to push in from the south on Monday, with temperatures climbing up to the mid 50s. A second round of rain is expected Monday afternoon.

A majority of Tuesday will be dry with highs in the mid 60s!

Our next cold front will bring thunderstorms and colder air Wednesday morning.
