The cloudy skies will continue tonight as temperatures remain mild. Temperatures tonight will only drop into the upper 40s to around 50 degrees. A few overnight showers will be possible.

Showers will become more widespread on Monday, as cloudy skies continue. In southern Kentucky a few stray thunderstorms will be possible, although strong or severe storms will be very limited. There is a slight risk for severe weather. Any strong storms will have the potential for gusty winds and large hail. Temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 50s for a mild start to the work week.

Showers will slide east on Monday night and exit eastern Kentucky early on Tuesday. But some clouds will linger on Tuesday. Under mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will peak in the mid 40s.
