The snow will exit this evening in southeast Kentucky and the clouds will clear out across the region tonight. Under mostly clear skies, temperatures will plummet into the teens for many locations. The winds will be light and variable through the overnight.
Mostly sunny skies will return on Friday with dry conditions across the region. The winds will be out of the southwest at 5 to 10 mph. High temperatures will top out around 40 degrees, the warmest of the week.
Southwest winds will increase on Saturday as partly cloudy skies continue. High temperatures are expected to jump into the upper 40s.
A strong cold front will arrive Sunday with much colder temperatures expected into early next week.
