A few evening light showers will remain possible in the Bluegrass along a weak cold front. The showers will dissipate after sunset and should not hold together for southern Kentucky. Behind a cold front tonight temperatures will drop into the low to mid 50s under partly cloudy skies.

We'll peak near average in the mid 70s on Thursday with light winds out of the northeast. The skies will remain partly cloudy. A dry day is expected in the Bluegrass, but a stray afternoon shower or storm will be possible in southern Kentucky.

As the winds switch out of the south on Friday high temperatures will jump into the low to mid 80s with scattered clouds. Highs will be in the mid 80s this weekend. A few more stray afternoon storms will refire on Friday as well as through the weekend.
