Mostly cloudy skies will continue tonight as temperatures remain mild. We'll only drop into the low 40s tonight. By Thursday morning, a few showers will be possible, especially in the Lake Cumberland region of southern Kentucky.
Rain will slide north across the area, especially in central Kentucky. Fewer showers are expected in eastern Kentucky. Temperatures will remain mild, as high temperatures remain in the mid 50s.
Showers will continue on Friday. Behind a warm front temperatures will jump into the mid 60s with near record high temperatures expected. Off and on rain and showers will continue into the weekend.
