A weak upper level system is working its way across the region tonight and it may spark a very stray sprinkle. There is limited moisture in the atmosphere at the surface, so nothing more than sprinkles are expected around midnight, mainly in southern Kentucky. Otherwise a few extra clouds tonight will keep temperatures mild again, with overnight lows dropping only into the low 40s.
Wednesday afternoon, more sunshine is expected as temperatures soar back into the mid 60s under a ridge of high pressure.
The high pressure will ensure a dry and pleasant Thanksgiving across the region, but a strong cold front on Friday will bring in a few showers and much colder temperatures through the weekend.
