The line of strong storms has weakened and now overnight rain is expected. Locally heavy rain will be possible with some locations possibly receiving 1"+, especially in the Bluegrass. Within the rain, local downpours, lightning and wind gusts of 45 mph will be possible. The chance for severe weather is very limited.
Lingering showers will continue into early Friday. Behind the cold front, clouds will continue with breezy west winds and struggling temperatures. We'll start in the low 60s on Friday and end up in the mid 60s!
