A dry evening will continue across the region with only scattered clouds. Temperatures tonight will bottom out in the low 50s (not the low 40s like the last several mornings). Southwest winds tonight and a few clouds will keep temperatures closer to average.

Friday afternoon, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies are expected with a light breeze out of the south at 8 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range in the mid to upper 70s. By the evening a stray shower or storm will be possible in the Bluegrass ahead of an approaching cold front. Most will remain dry, but a few stray storms will be possible through the evening. The cold front will slide through for the overnight and bring in some scattered showers. Locations that do receive rainfall, should not expect more than 0.10" to 0.20" (unless within a local downpour from a thunderstorm). Showers will exit during the morning on Saturday.

Partly cloudy and dry conditions on Saturday will take temperatures to around 70 for an afternoon high. Another shot of reinforcing chilly air will arrive Saturday night along a secondary cold front. Sunday afternoon high temperatures will struggle in the low to mid 60s!
