Update: At the 11 p.m. hour in Lexington, it is 16° with a wind chill of 7°. Luckily for southern Kentucky many areas are slightly warmer at around 20° right now. Bundle up if you need to go out tonight or Wednesday morning! Don't forget about your pets, plants, and pipes in this frigid weather.

Temperatures will drop back to near 1o° again Wednesday morning. When you factor in the wind, it will feel more like 0° at times. Make sure to bundle up in layers and cover any exposed skin if you need to be outside.

We are going to see a slightly warmer afternoon on Wednesday. We will climb up to near 30° during the day, although southwesterly winds up to 10 mph could make it feel more like the single digits at times.

As we head into Thursday morning, we will only dip into the upper teens.
