Mostly clear skies will continue tonight as temperatures again drop into the 20s. The winds will be out of the southeast at 5 to 12 mph.

More sunshine will return on Tuesday, with only high thin clouds expected. Light south winds with sunshine will allow temperatures to climb back above normal, with highs in the upper 40s. In southern Kentucky, high temperatures will peak in the low 50s.

The dry conditions will persist through the midweek, but clouds will thicken on Wednesday. High temperatures will peak in the low 50s. The chance for rain will return on Thursday as temperatures climb even higher!
