Midnight Update: It's quickly getting very cold again tonight. Temperatures have fallen into the low and mid 20s in most places across the region with Lexington now at 25°.

All the scattered snow in eastern Kentucky has pushed east into West Virginia and Virginia. We will stay dry the rest of the night into Wednesday morning.

Get ready for another cold night! Temperatures will again fall into the upper teens in some areas overnight into Friday morning. Remember to dress in layers and don't spend time too much time outside if you don't need to.

Friday afternoon will actually be a little warmer as highs make it into the mid 40s. That is still 10° below average for this time of year. We will start the day mostly sunny and see more clouds build in during the afternoon. Areas near the KY/TN border could see a quick shower, but will likely stay dry.

Our next storm system arrives Sunday, bringing widespread rain and snow.
