Any evening thunderstorms will dissipate during the late evening, and a dry and warm overnight is expected. We'll drop off to around 70 by Tuesday morning under partly cloudy skies.

Scattered thunderstorms will refire on Tuesday as temperatures climb back above average. The winds will remain light out of the southwest at 3 to 8 mph. High temperatures will be in the low 90s with a heat index around 100 degrees. Afternoon thunderstorms will linger into the evening, with only a very stray strong storm possible. The only threat for severe weather, would be a storm with gusty winds.

Wednesday will be the hottest day of the week, with a high of 93. The heat index will again be around 100 degrees. Scattered storms are again expected to develop in the afternoon.
