A few evening and overnight thunderstorms remain possible, especially in northeast Kentucky. Otherwise winds will remain out of the southwest this evening at 5 to 12 mph, under partly cloudy skies. Any evening storms than may pop, will have the potential to be strong to severe.

Off and on storms will be possible on Tuesday as temperatures remain hot. We'll top out in the low to mid 90s again with the heat index between 96 and 99 degrees. Southwest winds will be around 5 to 15 mph. The skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. The main threat for any storms, will be damaging winds.

Scattered to widespread thunderstorms will continue through the work week forecast as temperatures remain above average.
