As high pressure remains in the region, the skies will stay clear tonight, although south winds will increase by early Saturday keeping overnight low temperatures in the upper 20s.

Sunshine and south winds will take afternoon temperatures into the upper 40s and low 50s to start the weekend. The south winds will be breezy, gusting to near 30 mph through the afternoon.

A cold front will arrive early on Sunday. Along the front a few clouds will return on Sunday with a light west wind. High temperatures behind the front will be in the mid 30s. Then arctic air will arrive into the Ohio River Valley on Monday behind a secondary cold front. The coldest air of the season will settle in for the first half of next week.
