A weak cold front will push through tonight and bring back the clouds to the region. Temperatures will only drop into the mid 40s. Along with the clouds a few showers or even storms will be possible by Friday morning, west of I-75. The most likely region to receive morning precipitation will be the Lake Cumberland area of south central Kentucky. Any morning showers will dissipate by the midday.

A dry Friday afternoon is expected under partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will return into the low 60s with a light northeast breeze.

We'll keep it dry to start the weekend. Behind a Friday night warm front, temperatures will jump into the mid 70s with a breeze out of the south. A few storms will be possible with the warm temperatures on Friday.
