High pressure will slide into the Ohio River Valley to start the weekend, allowing mostly sunny skies and temperatures to warm only into the mid 70s on Saturday. The winds will be light out of the northeast. It will be a very pleasant start to the weekend.

On Sunday, a few more clouds are expected and more moisture south of Kentucky, may bring a shower or two across the border from TN or VA in extreme southern Kentucky. Otherwise it should be dry with temperatures remaining in the mid 70s.

Early next week more widespread showers and storms are expected.
