A few extra clouds will persist in eastern Kentucky tonight although dry conditions are expected. Some patchy fog will redevelop in valleys and low spots, especially across southern Kentucky. Light winds out of the east tonight will allow temperatures to drop off to around 60 for an overnight low.
Behind a warm front, south winds will take temperatures into the mid 80s on Thursday afternoon. And we'll keep climbing through the weekend. High temperatures will be around 90 degrees on Friday with low 90s expected Saturday through Monday. A few stray thunderstorms will return to the region, starting on Sunday and lasting into early next week, including Memorial Day.
