The Bluegrass was bypassed by Sunday's storm, when it shifted farther south than originally expected. But in eastern Kentucky, it was a different story with snow totals as high as 6". And many area roads are slick and snow covered across eastern Kentucky. Snow totals are ranging from 3"-6". Snow is exiting this evening, and the clouds will clear later tonight.
High pressure will arrive on Monday with mostly sunny skies expected. Temperatures will range in the 40s for the afternoon. With a snow covered ground in eastern Kentucky high temperatures will be around 40 degrees. In the Bluegrass highs are expected in the upper 40s. A weak system arriving Tuesday will bring back clouds and a few showers, but temperatures will keep climbing, with highs expected in the 50s.
