A Flash Flood Watch will be in effect from Thursday morning through Friday morning for central and eastern Kentucky.
Showers began this afternoon across central Kentucky. The rain will increase in intensity and coverage through the overnight and into Thursday. A Flash Flood Watch will continue through the day on Thursday. Rainfall totals are expected around 1" area wide, with isolated totals between 1.5"-2". The rain will come over a 36 hour period, beginning tonight and ending on Friday morning. Stay tuned to ABC 36 for the latest information about the potential for heavy rain and flooding.
