A Frost Advisory is in effect Tuesday morning for the Bluegrass and southern Kentucky, east of I-75, as well as all of eastern Kentucky.
Mostly clear skies and light winds tonight will allow temperatures to dip down into the 30s. Most locations will remain above freezing, with overnight lows in the mid 30s, but some valleys and rural locations may see overnight lows below freezing with the Frost Advisory issued. Then partly cloudy skies and plenty of sunshine on Tuesday will take temperatures into the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. A dry day is expected.
The showers and storms will return for the midweek, Wednesday. Along a cold front scattered to widespread showers and storms are expected. Ahead of the cold front, breezy southwest winds will take temperatures into the mid 70s. Highs will return to the mid to upper 60s Thursday and Friday behind the cold front.
