Winter Weather Advisory for Lexington and Central Kentucky.
A low pressure system in the Deep South will begin to pump Gulf Moisture into Kentucky.
Rain will begin overnight Saturday into dawn Sunday in Southern Kentucky.
As temperatures fall to near freezing, rain will begin to change to snow in southern KY and begin as snow further north.
The hardest-hit areas will be south and east of Lexington, where several inches of snow will be likely by Sunday evening.
Lexington will likely be a split forecast, with higher totals to the south.

The storm will exit to the east on Sunday evening, and Presidents' Day will be mostly sunny and slightly colder than average.
The next storm system will arrive on Tuesday evening with rain and milder weather expected for most of next week.
