A WINTER STORM WATCH is in effect for most of Central and Southern Kentucky and all of Eastern Kentucky for Saturday night through Sunday evening.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy, and rain showers will creep into southern Kentucky late in the day while most of the Bluegrass Region remains dry until the evening or overnight hours.
Early on Sunday morning, a rain / snow mix will likely change to snow, and accumulations are likely across most of the region for Sunday.
The hardest-hit areas will probably be southeast of Lexington, where several inches of snow will be likely by Sunday afternoon.
For more information on forecasted snow totals, check out the blog.
The storm will exit to the east on Sunday evening, and Presidents' Day will be mostly sunny and slightly colder than average.
The next storm system will arrive on Tuesday evening and into Wednesday, with rain and milder weather.
