Afternoon Update:

This afternoon, we're still tracking areas of light showers with a little bit of mixing of sleet and snow in our eastern counties.  Take it easy on the roadways while you're driving.  Lots of the trees are shedding their leaves and when those leaves get under your tire or your foot, it can become very slippery very quickly.

See below for more on your Trick-or-Treat forecast!

Happy Halloween!

It's a bone-chilling cold & eerie mist/drizzle as you're up and out the door this morning.  Temperatures are only in the mid to upper 30s and low 40s with thick clouds overhead. In eastern KY, I'm forecast more light showers with perhaps a mixing of wet snowflakes.  Coats, hats, jackets & umbrellas are needed this morning.

For our Trick-or-Treaters, I'm anticipating temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s between 6pm and 9pm before diving to near freezing overnight.  Though I think that the Blue Grass and along I-75 should stay relatively dry this evening, eastern KY should see more moisture, so make sure to hook the kids up with a poncho or rain jacket.

As we continue to work towards the end of the workweek, temperatures should begin to warm up into the mid to upper 50s near 60 by Saturday and Sunday.

Have a happy and safe Halloween!
