Afternoon Update:

We're in the low 50s in Lexington with scattered showers as of lunch time.  If you're heading out on lunch break, grab your umbrella!  A wintry mix is on the way by Wednesday...get more on tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm on ABC 36 with Meteorologist Mark Stitz!

Happy Tuesday!

Thick clouds, scattered showers and mild temperatures will be the name of the weather game today.  You'll need your wet weather gear mainly before lunch time with temps by noon in the mid to upper 40s.  Look for mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers into this evening.  Highs should only top out in the upper 40s and low 50s.  Tonight, we'll fall into the mid 30s with that cloud cover still in place.  Wednesday, Old Man Winter will make another return.  A wintry mix is in the forecast during the morning and afternoon hours tomorrow.  Don't expect much in the way of accumulation.  At this point, a light dusting at most is possible on grassy surfaces.

Join me today on ABC 36 News at Noon for more on our late week cool down...

Showers are on the way! More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK!
