Good morning!

As you're heading out the door this morning, watch out for slick spots on the roads, as well as a minor accumulations on the grassy surfaces and windshields.  Temps this morning are in the low 30s, and when you factor in the winds, it feels more like low 20s.  Highs should top out in the upper 30s today under cloudy skies.  We could see a dusting of snow showers in the Blue Grass and towards the Tennessee state line; however, in eastern KY, we could pick up between a 1/2 inch to 1 inch especially in the higher elevated regions.

Get ready for a Polar Plunge in the temperatures into this weekend.  I'll have more on your weekend forecast on ABC 36 News at Noon.

Snow flurries this AM in our E. Counties. More on a weekend polar plunge at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK at 5am! http://t.co/t6jyZs7nAA
