Afternoon Update:

Temperatures this afternoon will be a good 15° below normal.  Look for increasing clouds this evening with overnight wintery weather by first thing Friday morning.

Join Meteorologist Mark Stitz tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on the winter weather we're expecting tomorrow.

Your Thursday (Friday-EVE) is going to be bitterly cold and windy.  Expect temperatures this morning in the teens and low 20s with highs peaking in the mid to upper 20s.  Wind chills will knock those numbers right back into the teens and low 20s.  Skies should remain partly cloudy with a flurry or two possible during the day.  Overnight lows will fall into the upper teens and low 20s with more clouds moving in.

Winter Weather is on the Way...

First thing on your Friday morning should feature light showers, snow showers, sleet & areas of ice developing.  North of I-64, we're expecting mostly a snow and sleet mix, while south of I-64, rain, sleet and ice will be our primary concern.  Along I-64 is where we could see upwards of 1.00" - 2.00" of a sleet, snow & slush mix.

Join me at Noon on ABC 36 for the very latest.
