Afternoon Update:

After a beautiful morning, look for a few more clouds to move in through the afternoon and evening hours.  A few of those clouds, mainly west of I-75, could give way to a raindrop or two.  Otherwise, look for a warm day as temps near 80 degrees.

It's a great start to your first day of May with sunshine and mild temperatures.

By lunch time, expect temperatures in the low 70s with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s by this afternoon.  An isolated sprinkle is possible mainly west of I-75.  This evening, we're calling for just a few passing clouds with overnight lows in the mid 50s.  You'll wake up on your Thursday to more sunshine with temps again tomorrow above normal in the mid 70s.

Your Derby Day forecast:

Though it's still early, at this point, we're anticipating upper 60s with a few spotty showers in the Blue Grass.  If you're heading towards Churchill Downs, our chance for scattered showers is higher.
