Afternoon Update:

Sunshine with a few passing clouds are dominating our skies! Temps as of lunchtime are in the mid to upper 60s.  We're forecasting temperatures to peak in the low to mid 70s this afternoon.  We'll be rain-free today and tomorrow; however, in to your Friday evening, we're anticipating a strong cold front to move through sparking a few showers and storms.  Get more on your weekend forecast with Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm!

Enjoy the sunshine and mild temps here on your Wednesday!

I'll see you tomorrow morning at 5am for Good Morning Kentucky!

Good morning! You've made it half-way through your workweek!

As you're up and about this morning, look for cool temps to start.  You may need your light jackets! A few areas of this morning are reporting light fog, so be on the look out for it has you hit the roadways.

We're forecasting afternoon highs to top out in the low 70s under partly cloudy skies.  Our chance for showers in less than 10% so you will not see it reflected in your 7-day forecast.  Today should be a decent day to get outside; however, it looks like Thursday will be our best day to get outdoors.

We have a BIG cool down in your 7-day forecast, see it by clicking on the video link!

We'll catch you at noon here on ABC 36!

Cool & comfy start to your Wednesday. More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #KyWx http://t.co/1J3SvDnW
