Scattered Rain & Storms Possible Tonight Into Wednesday

Midnight Update:  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are diminishing in strength, with gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning possible.  Wednesday morning low temperatures start off around 70 degrees, with an afternoon high of 87 degrees.  There will be a chance for widely scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday.  Cooler, drier air returns Thursday through Saturday, with a high of 79 on Thursday, and lower 80s for Friday and Saturday, with plenty of sunshine.

The heat and humidity will continue into Wednesday, with scattered rain and thunderstorm chances tonight into Wednesday.  Below normal temperatures return Thursday through Saturday.  Sunny skies and pleasant conditions return for the upcoming 4th of July holiday.

TONIGHT:  A few rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight, with partly cloudy skies and some patchy fog possible overnight.  Overnight low temperatures will be around 70 degrees, with muggy conditions.

WEDNESDAY:  Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy for Wednesday, with a few scattered rain showers and thunderstorms developing.  Wednesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 87 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:  Partly to mostly cloudy skies will continue Wednesday night, with a few rain showers lingering, as a cold front moves through Kentucky.

THURSDAY:  We will have a little break with the summer heat Thursday through Saturday, with temperatures around 79 degrees Thursday afternoon.  There will be a chance for an isolated rain shower on Thursday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies.

FRIDAY:  We will have a beautiful 4th of July with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures around 80 degrees.

WEEKEND:  The pleasant conditions will continue for your 4th of July holiday weekend, with highs in the lower 80s for Saturday and upper 80s for Sunday, with partly sunny skies.

NEXT WEEK:  Temperatures will be back to the upper 80s to near 90 degrees for early next week, with the chance for a few rain showers and thunderstorms.
