Midnight Update:  Rain is quickly falling apart as a cold front is moving through Kentucky.  However, a spotty rain shower will still be possible through early Thursday.  The big weather story is the cooler and drier air that will be returning for Thursday and Friday.  After a Thursday morning low temperature of 62 degrees, afternoon high temperatures will reach a cool, 78 degrees.  The weather will be perfect for your 4th of July activities, with a high of 79 degrees for Friday and sunny skies.  Lower 80s return for Saturday, with upper 80s for Sunday, with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies.
