We're "Walkin' on Sunshine" all throughout Central Kentucky. That sunshine should warm temps in the upper 30s & low 40s this afternoon. It's going to be a cool night tonight at temps fall below freezing. Though temps tomorrow will soar to near 50 degrees, we have an Arctic Air Mass that will bring the coldest temps of the season into the Blue Grass next week.
Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack will have all the details tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm.
It's a very chilly start this morning; however, here is the good news - sunshine, and lots of it, will be out in full force.
The clouds from earlier this week have cleared, and sunshine will move in to take its place. We're forecasting highs in the upper 30s and low 40s. Given that we'll be cloud-free through today and mostly clear tonight, that will allow for temperatures to take another tumble below freezing overnight.
More mild temps will be pushed in to central KY by Saturday with highs hovering near 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies! Sunday, we'll bring in a few more clouds with cooler temps.
If you love the cold and crisp winter morning, wait until you see the highs into next week - I'll have more on your forecast today at Noon on ABC 36!
LIVE Viper HD is crystal clear. Will it say like this into the weekend? More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK! http://t.co/bWsA5n7C
