Midnight Update:  A cold front is moving eastward through Central Kentucky, which will bring more rain showers and cold air for all the viewing area through early Tuesday morning.  There will be a chance for some snow mixing in with rain for early Tuesday morning, with no major accumulations expected.  Tuesday morning low temperatures will start off in the lower 30s, with mostly cloudy skies into the afternoon and a high of only 41 degrees.  A hard freeze is likely Wednesday morning, with low temperatures around 25 degrees.  Due to these freezing cold temperatures Wednesday morning, precautionary measures will need to be taken to protect sensitive vegetation.  Wednesday afternoon will feature mostly sunny skies with a high of 53 degrees.  Temperatures return to the lower 60s by Thursday, and stay in the lower 60s through Easter Weekend.

Much colder air is on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday, with a wintry mix possible Tuesday morning, and a hard freeze likely for Wednesday morning. Milder air returns for the end of the week and into the weekend.

TONIGHT: Cloudy skies will continue tonight, with another round of rain showers developing overnight as a cold front moves through, followed by another weather disturbance. Overnight low temperatures will fall to around 33 degrees.

TUESDAY: There will be a chance for snow to mix with rain during the Tuesday morning commute, with no major accumulations expected. Only a light dusting on grassy surfaces will be possible, at best. Tuesday afternoon will remain mostly cloudy, with a high of only 41 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: A hard freeze is likely Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, as temperatures fall to around 25 degrees. Due to the freezing temperatures Wednesday morning, a Freeze Watch has been issued from 9pm Tuesday to 11am Wednesday (A Freeze Watch has been issued at the time of this writing, yet an upgrade to a Freeze Warning is likely by Tuesday).

WEDNESDAY: After sub-freezing morning temperatures, Wednesday afternoon will feature mostly sunny skies with a high of 53 degrees.

THURSDAY: Temperatures get milder for Thursday, as high temperatures return to around 64 degrees with mostly sunny skies.

FRIDAY: Friday will feature partly cloudy skies, with a chance for some late day rain showers and thunderstorms, and a high of 65 degrees.

EASTER WEEKEND: There will be a slight chance for rain showers for Saturday and Easter Sunday, yet skies will mainly be partly cloudy, with low temperatures in the mid 40s and afternoon high temperatures in the lower 60s.
