Afternoon Update:

Temps are already in the lower 60s with lots of sunshine.  I'm forecasting temperatures in the mid and a few upper 60s by mid afternoon.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your Turkey Day forecast!

Good morning!

It's the busiest travel day of the year and this morning, we're seeing just a few passing clouds with cool temps.  By mid to late morning, expect plenty of sunshine.  Double check to make sure you have your sunglasses on hand.  By lunch time, I'm forecasting low 60s before temperatures jump into the mid 60s by this afternoon.  We're comfortably cool tonight at the numbers slip into the low 40s.

We're calling for a "Dry Turkey" tomorrow under mostly sunny skies.  Tomorrow will be the best looking day this workweek with temps in the mid to upper 60s.

Make sure to join us today at Noon on ABC 36 for more on your forecast.

Great start in KY to busiest travel day o/t year! More on your Thanksgiving forecast at 5am! #GMK @ABC36Lexington.
