Early Weekend Update: We are looking at a sunny and warm weekend, with lower humidity. High pressure will be over New England on Saturday giving us northeast winds, then move into the Mid-Atlantic on Sunday, and into the Southeast U.S. for next week, transitioning our winds to the southwest. With southwest winds through next week, temperatures will warm into the upper 80s to around 90 degrees, with humid conditions giving us heat indices in the mid to upper 90s.
A cold front has moved through Kentucky, and we are looking at dry conditions through the weekend and into early next week. Temperatures will remain warm this weekend, with less humidity for Saturday.
TONIGHT: High pressure will continue to build into the region tonight, with winds out of the northeast bringing in drier air. Skies will be clear overnight with low temperatures around 64 degrees.
SATURDAY: With high pressure in control, we will have sunny skies for your Saturday with a high of 86 degrees. Despite the warm temperatures, the air will feel less humid.
SUNDAY: We will continue to have mostly sunny skies for the end of the weekend, with a warming trend that will continue into next week. Sunday high temperatures will be around 87 degrees.
NEXT WEEK: We will have partly sunny skies Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. There will be a chance for a few thunderstorms for Wednesday and Thursday, with high temperatures remaining in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
