Afternoon Update:

As of lunch time, we're in the mid 40s with lots of sunshine in the Blue Grass.  Look for a few more clouds to eventually move in during the late evening and overnight hours.  Showers and isolated thunderstorms are in the forecast by first thing Tuesday morning.

Join Meteorologist Mark Stitz tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your forecast.

It's a chilly start this morning with a few areas of light frost.  By lunch time, we're in the mid 40s with low 50s by the middle of the afternoon.  After your drive home from work & after dinner, clouds will build in.  Scattered showers and a few isolated, non-severe, thunderstorms should move into the Blue Grass during the overnight hours and into early Tuesday morning.  Highs tomorrow should hit the low to mid 50s again under cloudy skies with morning showers and storms becoming more isolated by this afternoon hours.

Join me today at Noon on ABC 36 for more on our chance for wintry weather Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.

We have a great looking day on the way! Sunrise: 7:15 AM. Sunset: 6:28 PM. See you at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK!
